Anti-Aging Tips for Modern Men
We all know that we cannot stop the process of aging but it does not mean that we cannot slow it down. The truth of the matter is, there is no need for you to look old when you are still in your thirties. But to embrace anti-aging, you need to form some habit and add some products to your daily regimen. Here is some list.
Men should have exfoliant
One of the main reasons why men have dry, sagging and lifeless skin is due to the fact that the is a pile of dead skin on top of a new one. Men should remove this layer to expose the new skin so as to let it a “breathe”. Another reason why this process is very important is that exfoliation helps in unclogging the pores.
Men should only exfoliate more than twice a month. It takes the skin 28 days to have its turnover. Over exfoliation may lead to dryness. Exfoliants with fine grains are better than the ones whit large ones. Fine grained exfoliants are gentle to the skin. Be sure also to have AHA or BHA.
Don’t forget the eye cream
One of the earliest signs of aging can be seen in the eyes. The skin around the eyes are loose, making it susceptible to wrinkles when there is too much tugging involved. The fats in the eyes are also the first ones to be lost in the process of aging.
The eye cream is used so that the skin around the eye can be hydrated. Look for products that may either plump the skin around the eye or hasten skin renewal to minimize the development of wrinkles.
Eye creams should be used daily. The best time to apply it is in the morning as well as in the afternoon. Do not pull or tug the skin as it will only increase the chances of wrinkles. A light pat should be the action done. Another way is to dab the cream on the skin under the eye in semi-circle movement.
